From the point of view of students, their ideas are crystallized, ideals are set, creative intellect is sharpened, professional skills are developed, new techniques are developed; life style is moulded, in a University and in short, the path that a student takes for the rest of his or her life is largely carved out. Pt. Sundarlal Sharma (Open) University Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur is setting new standards on what a university ought to be.

Efforts are being made by the University to groom students to become quality professionals capable of meeting the requirements of society.
